Created this graphic treatment of the motto used by Sacred Stone Village, for the side of their prototype utility trailer which is able to provide renewable energy (wind & solar inputs), water purification and satellite internet hookups for events, gatherings and camps.

Water Is Life

The graphic, though designed digitally, is applied to the trailer with a hand-drawn graffiti look, a nod to the group’s grassroots and protest heritage. The bands on either side are a visual reference to the Standing Rock eagle symbol which had an important place in the #NODAPL protest movement and to the eagle’s symbolism in Native American culture in general. This work was done pro bono in support of Sacred Stone Village.
